I don’t know much about this office except for the fact that they have tech and consumer (likely more groups as well?). Consumer practice out of sf is very good, tops in the middle market. Exit opps are good to mm pe, can’t speak to tech/other groups tho.
Healthcare is also done in the SF office although the deals are also split with Minneapolis. Healthcare is probably Piper's best team throughout the bank and Consumer is definitely solid in the MM space.
Did I hear that Piper HC only gave 1 summer associate an offer this year out of 15-20 associates?
