Point72 AM vs. BB IBD

Hey Monkeys,

Interviewing with Point72 and the top BBs in the next few weeks and was wondering how you would think about which option to take. For someone interested in investing in the long term, at what point would you take a BB over P72 in terms of bank/group/exit opps etc? How do you think reputational risk factors in? Looking forward to hearing your feedback.

Just my two cents but I would think the P72 name would be a big turn off with a lot of other firms given all of the controversy surrounding Cohen & company. I would think BB IBD would probably give you more options when you're looking at buyside gigs down the line. That being said, P72 has a lot of very sharp people who aren't insider traders so the experience would still be worthwhile if that is where you end up.
