It's possible - but they only take the absolute best of the best. If SG/Oxbridge is your long-term goal as a guy, I'd say start in a good I-banking group, network with these firms come PE recruiting time, and then try and get multiple (like 5+) good PE offers through one of these places to show how awesome you are. Even then, it's a crap shoot - these positions are very competitive! Sleeping with one of the lower-level chicks probably can't hurt, but you gotta know what you're doing. Girls talk.
