I had an offer from them ... really nice people, and the directors really put in an effort for analysts to be involved in the deal process and have them travel and talk to clients etc. It is ESOPs with a little bit of M&A, working mostly with family businesses

Strongest presence is in Chicago. Pushes ESOPs heavy, which is a much different process than sell side M&A.
Is referring to the Oakbrook office? Do you know anything about the comp and hours from their firm?
I'm referring to a combination of the Oakbrook and Chicago offices.
I do not have any comp insight, but they are obviously going to be lower than street. That doesn't mean you cannot get paid well and hours are going to be better than MM shops.
