Pre-med to IB
Hello guys! Just a pre-med student looking to break into IB. Currently at NYU CAS (obvious reason), but my interests have changed quite a bit, and I'm hoping to work as a healthcare analyst in the future. Currently, I want to break into IB, but I realize I'm missing a lot of information, even the basics. So here's my question:
Where can I go to learn more about IB basics, such as the recruiting timeline and other beginner info, basically what should I educate myself on since IB is so big to get started?
- tried google, but it's a bit different, especially with the recruiting one year ahead
Where are some reliable sources I can use to start self-studying?
What are some steps I should take to get started?
(I'm a sophomore, so what internships or what kind of experiences should I be looking into?)
My resumes are filled with pre-med activities, so I'm a bit worried about how I can transition to finance.
Thank you guys!
Become a physician, bro
Not my gig man. Still love healthcare a lot, but physicians isn’t for me. Shadowed approx. 120 hrs in ER and can’t handled it no more. Looking to be a healthcare analyst!
You don’t need to become an ER doc though…
ER and cardiology were my favorites, sadly, didn't go as I thought they would. It's like if you don't like your specialty,, why are you doing it, especially in medicine?
What year are you? Will make a big difference before I can offer any type of advice
