Well... I don't think any single person can speak for "NYC's opinion" but if you want want my two cents they're essentially equal. I would recommend doing a linkedin comparison (there's a way to do this) that will show which school places more financial services alum in NYC.

I would think Vanderbilt by a fair margin. BC isn't that great of school, don't get swayed just because they have specific school for business undergrad. Vandy has a better reputation overall, even in the Northeast.
