Prime Chater Ltd... remember anything about this IB from the 90's?

Does anyone remember anything about the investment bank Prime Charter from the 1990's? I had an acquaintance from college who had some connection to some of the guys there and I was just curious about the company. All I can find on basic intern searches is they had an office in NYC and Boca Raton, Florida, they were sold in 2002 to Oppenheimer, They grew from like 3 employees to like 245 or something, and some guy wrote a book on Wall St. and he thanked them for getting his start at Prime Charter for his first four years. Besides that I can't find anything in old newspapers or anything. Anybody hear of this company back in the 90's? or know what IPO's they accomplished or any M&A's? Or any back story. Thanks.
