I'm almost always against embellishing on a resume. However, if .02 means the difference between getting an interview and not (will algorithms automatically reject you if you put down 3.48?), I think it's a risk you have to consider taking. Just have a plausible reason why, if you're ever called on it, you put down a 3.52.

How can you possibly be this conflicted about rounding to the nearest decimal. Explain how not putting your GPA at the hundredth decimal a "risk"

How would you even find out about penalties for lying on resumes at your college? Can't exactly ask without coming off oddly?

This is good practice for when you hit the desk and start modeling. We make up numbers all the time... yeah 3.0% growth over the next 5 years. Foolish! Slide the decimal place over for 30%

Show em how this works. Pro forma addback to 4.0, adjusting for 0.52 of non-recurring charges related to [insert comment]

where did you get the idea of 3.52????? just round it up to the tenth everyone does this

one is just rounding up and the other is a straight up fraud

Round up to 3.5 or fudge to 3.52, it won't change the discernible differences between you and a candidate with 3.7+
