Question for IBers who hire: Are IB virtual events a waste of time?
Are IB virtual events a waste of time? I keep getting invited to various BBs online events. I learned a lot when I attended one, but I don't know if it helps with getting an offer. Some colleges when you're applying, have something called "demonstrated interest", so if you attend like events, or go on tours, or contact the school's admissions team, it indicates high demonstrated interest which helps with getting in to certain schools. Is there a similar thing with these recruiting events? Personally, if it doesn't, I'd prefer to use my time for something else.
