Questioning my Working Conditions
In light of the recent Jefferies incident, I've started to question my working conditions. I work at a large BB in a coverage industry group. I knew it was going to be tough coming in, but I didn't realize it was this tough.
On a good week, I'd log 90 hours and feel slightly sick on my Saturdays off. But on a bad week, 110, and feel pretty bad about life. Thankfully I have a lot of friends in the city and family close by to help me get through it all, though I lost my girlfriend because of my job. Obviously, I question myself whether or not it's worth it every day especially when this job threw me into the worst mental state I've ever been in this past year after losing the person I cared about most in this world. I'm still young which is why I'm sticking this out, but I'm only young for so much longer.
I'd like to hear how many hours y'all are logging and how you're feeling yourselves.
