Current AN2 at a BB, do you guys ever reach out to the other sides junior team to make a connection? We’ve exchanged hundreds of emails and haven’t actually spoken. Obviously not often analysts are saying a whole lot on bigger calls.
Have you all ever been contacted as a junior team to meet? Probably wouldn’t do it for this project as it’s too far along but for future deals I would consider it

Like a personal connection? No, but I've definitely called up the AN/AS on the other side to hash things out without the seniors and drive to a resolution/get clarity. Sometimes you get to know them a bit better, especially if you talk often but I don't imagine actually going out socially with them.
I’ve found it useful to pick up the phone and discuss the deals. I’ve been in the business for a 20+ years and have Had a few different roles. Many of the people I’ve connected with I’ve either worked with on other deals or we’ve helped each other with our careers. I’d certainly recommend growing the professional relationship and you never know what may be the potential for a social relationship from there.
To be clear no interest in a social connection. These guys are obviously smart so yeah just looking to expand the network. Would imagine they are going into PE so never know how that may help down the road
