Really Competitive / Cutthroat Groups on the Street

Since culture is often group-specific (harder to make generalization about whole firm) -- what are some groups known for having the above qualities?

When listing groups, pls also write your definition of "competitive"

Thank you

If competitive = most sought after groups on the group, then you would probably consider GS TMT and GS M&A. People in those groups generally attract the most interests from headhunters for PE. M&A groups at most BBs are generally the most attractive during group placement.
