Received a rejection from Citi after they told me I was accepted over the phone

After the two Citi Spring interviews, I received a call from Citi telling me I'd been accepted and giving me all the details of how the week would go. Today I've just received a rejection email for the spring. I really don't understand, have any of you had the same problem? If any of you work at Citi on the forum, your help would be very much appreciated.

Someone made a mistake. You’re dealing with HR… these things happen. Call back the person you spoke with over the phone and explain the email you received. You may have received in error… although offers do get rescinded.
