Received my PWP rejection email!
Thank you very much for applying to the Corporate Advisory Internship Programme - July 2021 opportunity.
After review, unfortunately we will not be proceeding with your application at this time.
To summarize, I:
- Wrote a fucking essay about what I would like to achieve as an intern at Perella Weinberg Partners
- Wrote a fucking essay to explain what title I would give to the autobiography of my life
- Wrote a fucking essay about the alternatives to M&A for a company
- Wrote a fucking essay about a PWP deal while trying to sound genuinely thrilled
- Wrote a fucking essay about which question I would like to ask Dietrich Becker if given the opportunity, as if I gave a fuck about that guy
We sincerely appreciate your time and interest in Perella Weinberg Partners and wish you the best for the future.
Yeah fuck you
Yeah just got mine too - can’t believe I wrote out all that shit for nothing. Fuck Dartmouth Partners. Bet they don’t even read them
Recruiters don't know shit about finance, 100% this was CV-based.
At least you didn't waste further 15min of your life for a perfect call with madame M from Dartmouth Partners just to get rejected right after that
Im at a top target and apparently All of Oxbridge/LSE finance societies are considering banning PWP from their campuses after this years antics.

The Dartmouth Partners PWP team once interviewed me on the train. I tried to reschedule, but the interviewer told me that my chance to interview was "now or never". So I had to do a full 15min behavioural interview on a packed rush hour overground train.
Going to take a shot in the dark and assume by the resentful tone of their post that it did not
My experience with Dartmouth Partners had always been so bad that I stopped applying to banks that recruited through them. I had two instances of my interviewer forgetting about the call with one of them emailing me 15 minutes after the start time to reschedule.
What the fuck is Dartmouth partners and who the fuck is madame m
What is pwp
This type of shit pisses me off. When firms think that they're so special that they demand 3-5 hours from each applicant's time.
It's always the mid-tier firms with a chip on their shoulder
Not sure I'd describe pwp as mid-tier.
In London they are.
