Recently started at a MM (as a lateral hire), then received a BB/EB offer

Hey everyone,  So I started at this MM bank last week as a lateral analyst hire. However, just after starting in this MM bank, I just received an offer from a BB/EB bank.  Obviously, I would strongly prefer the BB/EB offer over my current MM bank; however, given that I just started (and already registered via FINRA) at the MM bank, I know that lateraling after less than a month would be a bad look, so was wondering if anyone has any insights on how to best approach this situation.  Thank you!

Right, I know the general mindset is always prioritize your own career path as banks DGAF about you. However, I was wondering whether the BB/EB bank that I received an offer from would perceive it in a negative light and rescind the offer if they discovered that I would have to quit the bank that I just joined for them (the BB/EB will likely be able to find out I just started at this MM bank through my FINRA and CRD records). Thoughts on this?

Its an interesting question. Brand does matter more than people want to admit. At the end of the day its a minor disruption for the MM, I'm sure there is a long line of qualified people to take your spot and a major career enhancement for you. I doubt the BB would fire you bc of changing two jobs twice. If you really are concerned just be honest with whoever is running the team / that you interviewed with - be like hey I really want to accept this however I just started elsewhere does that matter.
