Recruiting for FT during SA

I'm interning at an MM shop this summer and would really like to move up to a BB/EB for reasons of pay, career advancement, etc. for FT if at all possible

Is it possible to go for FT recruiting with an SA stint under my belt? Or is reneging in that scenario really looked down upon? What's the best way to go about FT recruiting during an SA? I'm well aware that securing a return offer is by far & away the most important thing, naturally.

Any stories from anyone who's done this? Thanks!
