Recruitment Help

Hello WSO,

I am currently on a Fixed Income legal team in NYC at a BB. Non Target business school, finance major, good GPA and previous work experience. I am meeting with a recruiter to discuss some options. I am very interested in joining the Legal IBD team. The year long program I am in encourages us to explore different areas of the bank and reach out to people.

How would you guys recommend going about this? I have done my research and have all the contact info for the group I am most interested in (M&A Legal).

Any tips on how to handle the recruiter?

Thanks in advance.
