A friend of mine just told me that, he got an interview from MS, with a 3rd year analyst. Obviously he got his resume directly passed to HR, since he didn't fill out online applications and he didn't do calls with any HR.
The funny and fortuitous part is, he had no idea who passed his resume to the HR. He said he talked to 5-6 people at MS, but didn't remember anyone particularly interested in his story or anyone whom he developed a personal connection with. That guy lies a lot so I'm not sure if I can believe what he says.
If what he says is true, this is more than lucky.....
