Renege FT offer for better brand name bank for PE Opps?

Accepted an offer at a no name boutique in NY starting this summer - am receiving lots of looks from reputable MM banks in NY. Thinking about recruiting for buy side. Is it beneficial for my career to renege on the no name boutique and go to a reputable middle market firm in same city? Any advice or insight is helpful. Mentors telling me to stay where I’m at and be content.
