Do it, banks would cut you in an instant for market downturns. Focus on #1.
You like the rest of us are very replaceable, they will be pissed but will get over it and find somebody else to fill your spot.
FT or internship? For internship definitely go for it. No one will remember you.
If it’s for FT I’d consider it more - but still the same. Reputation is important but no one’s gonna remember the analyst that didn’t work there.
