Requesting Another Summer at BB IB

Hi all, I wanted to ask for some insight on this. I am an incoming SA at a BB, and I'm likely not going to be able to graduate on time. Therefore, I am hoping to ask them at the end of the summer if I could come back for another summer and delay a year.

Has anyone done this or have any insight on how to approach this?

Sorry to say but you will almost certainly be told to get lost and I would not recommend asking for this. Banks are really clear about graduation dates and the requirements, and the summer class is already filled by August. It's also kind of a sensitive subject because lots of sophomores pretend to be graduating early, use the "incoming SA at BB" to help them recruit better, and then go back to their initial grad year and ditch the FT offer for a SA at a better bank.

I would go talk to your academic advisor ASAP and figure out what you can do. Does your school offer Jan or May terms, or can you do them at another school and transfer in credits? Can you take online classes (maybe at another school if not offered at yours) to get more credits during the semester? I would tell them you already have something lined up and 100% need to graduate on time. It might be a shitty senior year but better than losing your offer.
