Ressources to fully understand CAPM and Beta
Hey Guys, I know that some Bankers during Interviews are not satisfied with just knowing that CAPM is a way to calculate the cost of equity and what beta of -1, 0 and 1 means. I don't have a finance background and I would like to understand how CAPM is derived in the first place.

Any interview guide or Investment Banking by Joshua Rosenbaum and Joshua Pearl will do. There's no need to get too deep into the weeds. Interviewers are just trying to see whether or not you understand the concepts behind the questions.
