RX Advisory Landscape & Exits
I see that there is a real lack of information surrounding RX Advisory - prestige, quality of firms and associated exits.
Top players seems to be:
Alvarez & Marsal, FTI, Alix Partners
Seems the following boutiques rank higher occasionally from league table data I can gather:
BRG, Province
Other players:
Big 4 (Deloitte, PWC, KPMG, EY) - expected their practices to rank better but they do not look great. I also see M3, Riveron, and other botique players.
Locations: All said firms have locations in all the typical cities seem to have the most pedigreed seniors in New York (not a big surprise)
Would love a thread/insightful discussion on the matter especially on comp, exits, and how to enter the industry.

Not referencing RX IB, I am talking about firms with restructuring and turnaround advisory practices. Many would call it RX “Consulting”

Best part of this comment is the fact that Taubman is a M&C banker, probably has never even touched an RX deal
Suggest you peruse the Consulting ("CO") tab. There's a few posts covering the space, including for the above.

That's fair. Depending on the shop you're at, you may see more financial restructuring work, including for distressed transactions, i.e. 363 sales in-court.
However, the players you're looking at are under the general umbrella of RX consulting vs. pure play RX IB.
