Don’t work there but had an offer from BDO RX but turned it down. It’s more like an administrator roles focused on insolvency than actual RX consulting or especially RX banking (which is focused more on cap structure). Would avoid if you can if you’re looking for RX banking than apply directly there very difficult to move even from top RX consultancies like A&M.

This is painfully false. BDO does almost no insolvency work. It's almost entirely out-of-court debtor advisory (13w CF modeling and assisting with the refi/forbearance process). Also, look at their class. 2/4 of their senior associates moved from BDO to A&M just this year. I know another SA from BDO who got an A&M offer and turned it down.

Want me to link their LinkedIns? Do 10 seconds of research before straight lying online.

BDO is good, GT is okay, MNP is terrible.

Restructuring (Rx) at lower-tier accounting firms like BDO, Grant Thornton, and MNP can provide solid experience, especially in mid-market and distressed business advisory. While deal flow may not be as high-profile as at elite boutiques (EBs), you can still gain valuable financial restructuring and turnaround expertise.

Exit opportunities typically include roles at larger restructuring firms, special situations groups, or even distressed investing at private equity firms. Moving to an EB is possible, but networking and strong transactional experience will be key to making that leap.
