Secondary Advisory?
Hi guys. Long term lurker here. I was hoping to get some feedback and perspectives from you guys. Being in the industry, I've got friends/colleagues in many coverage groups, some of which are in secondary advisory. I know Cogent used to be the biggest name in the space, but since their acquisition by Greenhill, I'm wondering who are the more well known or up-and-coming groups. Seems like a great space and from what I've heard, they've been killing it in the last few years. Any thoughts/perspectives would be great.
Are you talking about PE secondary advisory? If so, check out the link below. It's a little dated (2010), but the paper does a good job of describing the early history of the industry, players, outlook, and even goes into valuing a secondary investment.

Some firms that come to mind are: - Park Hill (use to be part of BX, now part PJT Partners) - Lazard - Evercore - UBS - CS
