Securities disclosure

Hi all!

My upcoming internship has asked me to divest from all of my securities before the start of my internship. It’s a credit ratings internship and I was wondering what be should be done in this case. I don’t want to sell my portfolio. Is there any other way around? Would they know if I really divest from my stocks?

I really appreciate the responses!
