Senior Spring Internship

Hey guys, I'm at a very odd position in my studies. I transferred to a regional-target school after my sophomore year. I am currently a senior and initially am suppose to graduate in May 2010. I had no advising so I didn't seek an internship, just took some classes. I have a stellar GPA and a manage a student run portfolio at the school. This is good but I have no internship and I feel when deciding between two full-time candidates, they will always choose the one who has experience over me. So I know a good guy who can get me perhaps a PWM/IBD spring internship in Chicago with a bulge bracket firm(I know I should of done this before, but he just transferred to his company). The internship is a definite. Also, I am applying to the SEO career program and hopefully will get accepted so I can do an internship over the summer as well(hopefully with a nice NY IBD firm). So would it be a good idea to delay graduation until December 2010, when I would be ready for the interviews and have 2 financial internships so I would be more competitive.

Thank you
