Doubt it. It's not like you wrote an email badmouthing your interviewer.

In a normal situation, yes it's a bad move, but I think the fact they have the same name makes it less of a deal. That person should understand it was an honest mistake so I wouldn't be worried about it.

Guarantee the person forgets about it entirely within 36 hours.

Don't worry about it. I'm sure the wrong guy knows what's going on, he might even give you the email address of the right person.

If they have the same first and last name then no problem, if they have just the same first name say that as you were going through the list employees he was the first person to show up with that name and only until you sent the email did you realize that it was the wrong person. I wouldn't sweat it given the circumstances regardless, hope all turns out well! good luck

I did this when I interviewed a while back. It wasn't a huge deal at all, especially at a bulge bracket. So many people have the same name and the naming conventions can get tricky if people have the same name. Some do numbers, some do middle initial, etc.

I think I sent an email to the wrong guy and he just followed up and said "hey you've got the wrong guy, here is the email you want" and that was that.

I wouldn't sweat it.
