SF BB Office Culture/Dress Code
Starting an analyst program at BB bank in SF. What is the dress code like? I've heard "casual" and "laid-back" many times, but that sounds open to interpretation. Any thoughts help.
Thanks

Business casual and then usually jeans on Friday. Typical of SF is slacks, dress shirt, and a vest. Depends on the office but it is rare to ever see someone wearing a suit jacket, especially at the Analyst level.

I'm working in SF at a BB in IB this summer and I am curious as to what the dress code is like. I know that in NYC analysts wear suits, but I heard that isn't always the case in SF. What do most SF bankers wear?
Heading to an EB in SF. Dress code is business casual. Collared shirts tucked in, slacks.

I visited 8 SF banks and none wears suits. Most wear shirt+vest or sweater.
Dress shirt + slacks + vest + allbirds. Still remember, the first thing I heard during my SA stint was to lose my tie/jacket, and put on the vest that was handed out (company swag)
