Short Resume Question (I swear)
When reading an undergraduate's resume, should bullets be written out in full sentences?
Oversaw a 100 person student group. Oversaw 100 person student group
Notice the difference? One has 'a...student group' versus just 'student group'. One has a period (since it's a full sentence) and the other doesn't.
Which should go on a resume?
I apologize for the baseness of the question.
There's no steadfast rule but in my opinion, since things are bulleted, you don't want full sentences. That, and a lot of periods towards the right-side hand of the page doesn't look too pretty. Just be consistent with how you structure your pseudo-sentences/bullet-points
Agreed with the above – just make sure it's consistent. I also think it's better not to write full sentences because it lets you put more meat in each bullet, which can't hurt.
