Should I transfer?

I am currently a sophomore at a private liberal arts college in Chicago. Although it is a great school, it is overlooked and isn't very well-known. I got into University of Illinois and Michigan State but decided to go here. I want to go into IB and I understand that part of getting into it is going to a well-known/prestigious school. I am also aware that the schools I listed are not prestigious but they are more well known than the school I am currently attending.Should I transfer to a more well-known school (Michigan U or Michigan St.) based purely off of the factor that they are well known and have more alumni in banking or should I stick it out and network my way into it? Is it worth transferring to a school that is more well-known but still not a target?

U of M is well worth it. Are you at Loyola? You don't have to answer if you want to remain anonymous. But MSU is definitely not worth it, as they usually only send a very small handful to banking and have a ton of business students. U of M (getting into Ross at least) places is very well though. I'd look to transfer there or U of Chicago if you are a sadist.

I am at Lake Forest College, I don't really care if people know who I am, but U of Chicago is a little bit out of reach for me at an academic standpoint. U of M is in the ballpark. Do you think it's worth it?
