SIE prep while travelling?

Starting FT at a BB and was told originally i just needed to knock out the SIE before my start date in late july. Planned a trip to Europe with my gf after graduation until like mid June but now got an email today saying I need to pass by June 1st.

Obviously this throws a wrench in my plans but I really don't wanna spend my last summer of freedom locked in my room studying all day, and I'm taking a pretty heavy courseload so I probably won't be able to prep much until school is done.

I've seen old threads saying 2 weeks of studying should be enough for most, but I assume this is hardcore, morning till night cramming. For those who have taken it, do you think ~1hr a day on average of casual studying spread out across a month would be enough? I'm a finance major so i already know the basics if that helps. Any study tips from ppl who prepped while travelling?

Thanks gang

I studied for an hour a day for about a month and passed last week. Just be diligent in improving in weak areas and you'll be good.

Honestly if you start right now, skim the whole book and do some basic prep, you can just shotgun practice exams a few weeks before your test date. I started around May and easily passed in June. Took the 63 and 79 a few weeks later during training and it was fine. The tests aren’t difficult just time consuming to verify you understand it enough to pass. Just do as many practice questions as it takes to get around 80%. Enjoy your trip man
