Sleeping Around w Other Interns?

I made this post a while ago but included too many details and deleted it so lets try again.

With the summer internship well under way, I think it's safe to say that nearly all of us have met other attractive interns of the opp sex. I've found a disproportionate number of interns/co-workers attractive (physically and mentally), which should happen being that everyone's screened for intelligence, confidence, etc.

All of that said, there's a bunch of parties and social events after work; at least two per week I'd say, and at first, I ultimately decided not to take it further than hanging out, but I slipped, gave in, and did something I regret bc it gets awkward at work when we see each other. I'm trying not to take it further or let it happen again with others but it's getting harder and harder because it's just too damn easy when everyone's drunk, we all live blocks away from each other in the city (convenient), and so on.

I know I can think my way through this by myself and weigh out the pros and cons on a case-by-case basis, but I guess I'm just opening the floodgate for other experiences/stories/thoughts, etc.

Send them my way, problem solved. Cheers.

Didn't you go to college? Never hook up with someone you see on a regular (see: daily) basis. You had the right idea in mind, but execution was poor. Solution: next time you want to hook up with other interns, do a hit and quit with interns from OTHER banks. Cake.

or at the least, other departments

you should be fine though as long as your not hooking up with anyone above you or HR girls

I wouldn't sleep with any more people you work with, especially as an SA. It has the potential to get really, really messy.
And once people start hearing about it, the gossip may overshadow the relevant things like the quality of your work. This may be important when they're choosing FT offers; you don't want to be remembered only as the SA who banged so-and-so (or everyone, depending on how much of a hounddog you are).

its also really f-ing cool though. way to capitalize on the free booze and social event calendar. have a good time and realize that if you play the cards right youll still have fun and should be able to get an offer. just dont make shit awkward, be laid back, and quit telling people. its in her/his best interest to not let anyone know either.

GameTheoryGiven the responses above the answer should be fairly clear - wait until you get an offer, accept it, THEN sleep with all the interns who didn't get offers.

Amen.

If I was an SA at a bank, I'd be tempted to screw around with the other interns esp since I'm a girl and could potentially have my pick, but in the end, I wouldn't because like others said, don't shit where you eat. Having an offer in hand would be much more fulfilling in the long run.
