Small Boutiques Criteria..??
Im an upcoming senior with an accounting major from a non-target and due to my current internship at a good boutique i got interested in Investment Banking. Ive been reading a lot in the forums since the day i joined and have learned a lot. One thing that is still bothering me is how can one get into a small boutique for any amount of experience? I'm situated in NYC so i've always worked year round part-time during school, and full time in the summer. And so, i am looking for something that would start in FALL. I'm just not aware of the small shops out there. Ive heard of all the big names but they wouldn't take me due to many reasons. Thus, i figured i should start low.
I have lots of EC on my resume, diverse work experience, and i volunteer once in a while. I've a low gpa bc i put myself through school and so working is a must.
Any suggestions/advice would be great.
Thank you!
^^^theres a thread at the top of this forum with boutiques....which boutique do you work at?
none
Well most ofthem are the good one's im guessing. (pardon my ignorance, im new to this industry but trying to learn)How do i go about applying to them...what are the criterias??
I'd suggest not ever revealing where you work, if you can help it. That's called a bad idea
^^^what difference does that make this is an anonymous internet forum...
