Soldier Supporting Ron Paul Technical Difficulty

For anyone else watching CNN...

Did anyone notice the soldier at Ron Paul's Iowa headquarters they were interviewing who was supporting Ron Paul's foreign policy platform conveniently getting cut off due to "technical difficulties"?

Q: Some republicans out there have been saying that Ron Paul would be very dangerous for this country... because he wants to bring troops like you... back from your post all over the world

A: I think it would be even more dangerous nitpicking wars... all over... Iran... Israel is more than capable of... cut off

Does anyone else find the timing of that "technical difficulty" awfully suspicious?

Yup, absolutely disgusting.

If Santorum wins I am giving up politics. Honestly wouldn't feel that bad because the dumbasses that vote for him deserve whats coming.

Being a uniformed soldier and speaking your opinion on national television is going to get him into trouble. We were constantly told NOT to speak to reporters in any situation because you are representing the Army/Military as a whole when you are in uniform.

I'm not saying as soldiers we don't have freedom of speech or the right to our own opinions, but when you can easily tie him into a group of people and judge that group based on what he says, that is what they want to avoid and I fully agree with it. I don't want this idiot corporal speaking for me.

On another note, he's been in 10 years and is only a corporal? he must be a dirtbag and was demoted multiple times or is seriously retarded...

Did you fly over my helmet?

I think that's a valid point of view, but it isn't CNN's job to cut him off, whether or not it's due to "technical difficulties."

i agree with both of you.

They were showing Ron Paul's post-election speech on Fox News and the same soldier mentioned here was about to speak for Ron Paul, and Fox News cut him off too!

I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.

That dude is fucked for being at a political rally in uniform. Then Newt (most likely) will say 'see, this guy supported Ron Paul and he got discharged blah blah blah'

Note: Yea, its that big of a fucking deal if you go to a political rally, in uniform, and support someone's policies. This is assuming he's still in service.
