Sophomore Recruiting 2024
I'm a rising sophomore at an ivy/target. My GPA freshman year is not good (3.0) for various reasons (which I could potentially explain in an interview if I was asked) , I have some internship experience under my belt and I am taking some measures to try and boost my candidacy and learn more. I am looking to apply to Sophomore diversity programs for 2025 summer. What are my chances and how can I improve them?
You wont get an interview with a 3.0. Even the diversity programs require above a 3.5.
I see. Do you think they'll just automatically delete my application? Is there nothing I can do to get an interview?

have they even opened yet. I know that MS is closed but super confused on the timing for Goldman. I've heard people say it opens early August/Fall but I see it open now
Goldman is open but you won’t hear back from them until fall

What’s the names of the Goldman internship. Is it just the regular summer analyst program or is there a separate sophomore diversity program.
I mean what are you gonna do.. Not apply? Suck it up and apply and get your GPA up for junior summer recruiting. Nothing you can do and it’s not like you weren’t gonna apply
