Current 2nd year at WF (haven't updated title) in a strong group that has good modeling exposure (think E&P/FIG/M&A) looking to lateral and saw BofA had some openings in C&R/HC. Would you choose a BofA coverage group over the aforementioned names at WF given that the BofA groups don't do much modeling? Thinking more in terms of exits (looking for solid MM shops not MFs)

Yeah, once you learn to model once it’s more or less the same thing. Also, BofA HC does modeling in house I believe (at least helps with it)

former wells analyst who left for a BB - if you already know how to model, why even care that the BAML group does it less? You already have that skillset, and the BAML name will take you miles further than wells ever would. no brainer imo. Best decision i ever made leaving wells lol
Wells barely does M&A pretty much all financing and pitching. Source: my roommate. I would take any of bofas groups over them.
