Studying LBOs & Industry For SA 26 Recruiting

Hey girls and guys,

Happy holidays to everyone! I am currently touching up on all my tech prep and am a tad bit lost on how much to prep. To give context, non-target to semi target depending on place, but I have networked VERY well, with connects almost everywhere. I am very interested in top EB/MF intern/analyst (have very strong connects in these places), and I am curious how in-depth do I need to study? I would say I am a technically strong candidate who understands the concepts and projects well.

However, I know 400 IBD is not sufficient for these places. But how in-depth do I need to know the TMT industry (for regional California offices) and how crazy of a paper LBO do I need to know for places like Blair, CVP, and KKR? The difficulty of interviews seems to change every year, so I would love anyone's opinion. Thanks in advance!
