Based on the most helpful WSO content, offering tutoring services for IB recruiting is a great way to help students prepare for the competitive process. Your focus on technical prep, behavioral prep, industry prep, mock interviews, and interview strategy aligns well with what aspiring analysts need to succeed.

Here are a few tips to enhance your offering:

  1. Highlight Your Credentials: Mention your experience as an incoming analyst at a top group. This adds credibility and attracts ambitious students.

  2. Tailor Your Services: Emphasize how your sessions will be customized to the student's specific needs, whether it's mastering technicals or refining behavioral answers.

  3. Leverage Networking: Encourage students to combine your tutoring with networking efforts, as face-to-face meetings and coffee chats are critical in IB recruiting.

  4. Flexible Scheduling: Offering flexibility in scheduling sessions can make your services more appealing to busy students.

  5. Success Stories: If possible, share examples of how your guidance has helped others succeed in the past.

Your rate of $50/hour is competitive, especially for personalized, weekly sessions. Make sure to maintain a professional and structured approach to maximize the value for your students.

There are massive under the radar tutoring services with incoming EB/BB/MF/HF analysts charging crazy rates (even crazier than $50/hr) for tutoring services.

These typically include unlimited mocks, firm specific interview Q’s, etc.

Half of Point 72 USAs previous Summer Academy program was all internationals who paid for tutoring.

Not defending OP, but don’t talk if you don’t know
