Summer in distressed S&T - where next?

I'm a senior at a target school. I spent the summer interning on a top distressed debt S&T desk in a desk analyst type role.

I really enjoyed it and was told I did a good job. Unfortunately, the desk did not have space for me, and my return offer is a generalist one.

However, given how much I liked it, I really want to be on a similar role for full-time.

What are some places I could look, either buyside or sellside? What options are most likely to pan out (I know sell-side is tough right now)? Thanks!
