Summer Internship - Junior majoring in finance
Hey guys, I am a junior majoring in finance, and as the semester begins to wind down, the search for a summer internship does as well. As of right now I am still waiting on call backs from 2 banks, and have got the position a one small brokerage firm. The interview at the brokerage firm was about 10 minutes and it seemed as is he was just looking for anyone. He stated that I would be doing quite a bit of cold calling, and it would be 20 hr/week, and unpaid. Since this is my first internship, is this an okay position, or should I hold out in the hope of hearing back from the other banks (TD, and Wells Fargo)?
hold out
