Super Mario/Italy

We were talking about "Super" Mario Monti today. Do you guys think the unelected technocrat can right Italy? Or is he just polishing brass on the Titanic?

another bagman for the international banking mafia, like papademos.

italy can only default. and if it must default it should default big, like iceland. even the creditors know this. these austerity measures are just a means of scraping off a few extra crumbs before the inevitable happens. and the italian people are onto this. i wouldn't count monti's tenure in years, if even months.

i am long USD while i wait for mr. shit to meet mr. fan.

LOL. Greece can only default. Italy won't. There are tremendous differences between those two. On the other hand, long USD. there is no disagreement there.
