SVB Leerink vs Nomura NY
I was wondering Leerink's exit options and deal flow. I heard they are hiring some professionals from tech to expand the presence. Anyone who could share insights would be really helpful.

SVB
Really depends on your personal tastes, but SVB seems like it would have better exit opps and imo a cooler experience. Seems like they’re on a good trajectory. There was a thread about them starting a tech group earlier this month with some senior bankers from solid banks. I also know someone in SVB’s venture debt arm and she loves the company.

i am insulted this is even a consideration
Hi, does SVP hire direct out of undergrad from nontarget for full-time recruiting (assume that i network), or does SVB hire laterals only for FT
Idk why'd we'd be different than any other bank. Do the networking and see where it takes you. These things have been done before... GL!
If it was Greentech within Nomura then it could come down to if they had a preference for that space, but otherwise, Leerink is a tier ahead for sure

The fact that SVB L hired someone like you has materially lowered my perception of SVB L.
Since I'm a HC nut, SVBL everyday of the week.
Is your offer at SVBL for HC or the new tech group?
Is it in the same We Work as the Goldman Sachs?
