Talk Me Out of Quitting?
I am about 2 months in and have found myself seriously debating quitting without finishing my 2 year analyst stint. It's not even about the hours- I wake up feeling pretty unfulfilled, unhappy, and I spend all day doing nothing that matters at all. On top of that, the associate is a stuck-up jerk and I find myself less interested in finance-related exit opps. I am thinking about leaving to join a venture-backed startup to gain operating experience before applying to b-school. Would like to pursue entrepreneurship in the long run. Thoughts? Anyone care to talk me out of quitting?

May I ask what you do that "doesn't matter?" Shit man, I hate the job too, but I'm not asking people to talk me out of quitting. Get out there and find something better/more fullfilling.
Why would anybody talk you out of quitting? If you want to work for the startup, just take the job. I wouldn't quit without anything lined up though.
You have to do what's in your best interests, and if it is compromising with your quality of life to a material degree, then a move would be best. However, as you've been there for two months, I personally would give it a few more to get a holistic perspective of it. typically, it does seem to get better over time and the workload (if an issue) tends to lighten as you become more proficient.
life certainly isn't about exit opps: do what you want to do :D.

I'm really unfulfilled too, I mean I entered trading for the orphans and harp seals. I feel like my company has strayed from our initial vision and it no longer has that "cool" vibe to it, know what I mean?
You're still transitioning from having a vacation schedule (school) to working your ass off around the clock, and I'm guessing like every other person that has entered the workforce before you... It never really lives up to your imagination once you're less of the new kid on the block.
Put in a year and reassess your thoughts. Don't hurt your resume on a whim.
