First time filing taxes after receiving a bonus. Any idea what to expect for tax refunds back? Not sure if I should expect anything back but recall someone telling me that while bonuses are taxed heavy we can expect to see a certain portion of it come back.
As of now turbotax is telling me I have a 4k refund and I got about ~80k bonus last summer. Would love to hear if this seems right or if I should hire a CPA to see if there is additional room for value.
