Technology Group Exit Opps
I'm curious about the exit opportunities that exist for people in the technology group of I-banks. I'm graduating this semester with a masters in electrical engineering and have an offer from a NYC BB for a rotational program in the technology group doing application development. I find computer programming interesting but really don't see myself doing it past this rotational program, and would mainly accept this job to learn finance, live in NYC, and move on from there. Anyone know anyone who has moved on from technology groups to other sections of the I-bank or perhaps hedge funds or PE? Any advise is appreciated.
