I recently went through both west coast (LA/SF) and NY recruiting and ended up accepting an SA25 offer at a firm in NY. I wanted to see what the general opinion (outside of obvious differences in the groups that operate out of these locations) on LA/SF vs NY, mainly if banking is seen differently based on the city you work jn.
