Thoughts on Growthpoint Technology Partners??

I met a few analysts from the firm at my school's IB forum, and we got along great. I received an offer for their 2021 SA program just today, but I want to learn more about their reputation/comp/exit opps/culture before I decide. I've been asking my pbros from my business frat, but they say they haven't heard much about it. Can anyone offer color?

Quick look at their website shows me they seem to be a fast growing shop but note they only have two analysts and associates. This is a small junior team and based on their txns, looks lik you'll get some good txns under your belt but wil lbe crushed while you're there. It's a small shop that started 14ish years ago like other smaller boutiques in the SF / Menlo area so it is what it is. I suggest seeing how it's like and hten recruiting for something bettter later on.

In a past life I did Big Tech Corp Dev for a bit and man these guys were always in our damn inbox (respectfully though, so it was cool). Senior banker there that had our info seemed sharp and fairly aggressive, which bodes well. Just given the profile and location of the firm, I assume it's pretty lower MM tech sell-side and capital raise focused, but overall that's a solid niche to be in.
