Career Resources
From what I hear their Tech IB is strong (Head of IBD was a well-known TMT banker at RBC/Barclays/Lehman). Otherwise I think they are the same Mizuho from years ago. Lots of hirings, firings, rinse and repeat.
although they are trying to grow their tech group,
most of their deals are dcm/ecm, solid culture though
Lol not a good tech shop. It’s a place that uses its balance sheet to capture capital markets fees. It’s glorified corporate banking. Rarely are they ever on anything M&A related in the US
They recently sent an internal email incentivizing teams to bring in more M&A with the top group getting dinner and golf for a day.
This pretty much paints how they’re doing as a firm. Good luck
