Thoughts on new boutiques? (M. Klein, Incentrum, Foros, DBO, Dyal, Etc)
There have been a few newer boutiques that seem to have made a name for themselves. I'm wondering how people view these companies at the analyst level.
From my perspective, deal flow seems to be fairly strong, so that's not a concern. Speaking with some, the experience you get working on deals seems to be strong compared to the BB's - you get to work on more aspects of a transaction and speak directly to management.
Of course, you lack the strong institutional name that comes with BB's.
These firms r prolly hiring FT 2021 right
No
To my knowledge, Foros and Incentrum are.
My brother recruited for one of those this fall. They wrapped up in early October.
Also wondering more about comp, the hybrid nature of some of them (IB + Principal Investing), exit opps, and work experience!
